Kyle and Kurt Busch Team Up For 2012 in the Nationwide Series
Kyle Busch Motorsports announced today that Monster Energy Drink will be the main sponsor for the team's number 54 Nationwide Series Toyota.
In bigger news, the team announced that the car will be driven by both Busch brothers. Team owner Kyle, and his older brother Kurt will split the season behind the wheel in the series.
KBM will also still have a team in the Camping World Truck series, as the number 18 truck will be driven by Jason Leffler for a partial schedule. KBM wants to run the truck for the whole schedule, and is looking at some other Cup drivers to fill in according to ESPN.
The team plans to run for the Nationwide Series owners' points championship in 2012.
Mike Beam will be the crew chief for the team. Beam was formerly the crew chief for Carl Edwards in the Nationwide Series with Roush Fenway Racing.
Beam said today on Sirius Radio's "Sirius Speedway" that the team has five cars completed already, and expects to have eight cars done before Daytona.
